Passive Recovery refers to stopping on the spot when you finish before repeating the next rep whereas Active Recovery refers to you jogging back to the endline where you started.

A very enjoyable day presenting in @mtu_ie on Thursday last, for an LCPE Applied Learning day. The day consisted of lectures, talks, and practical sessions with over 600 students. My session focused on Safe Practice, warming-up for activity and sport, speed and agility.
