Trey Knight is one of the top available JUCO guards in the country. The 5'11" lead guard from Hayward, California recently completed his second collegiate season at Wallace State Community College, where he averaged 13.3 points, 5.4 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 42 percent from the field and 38 percent from three. Knight lead his conference in assists and finished 24th in NJCAA Division I this past season, a testament to his consistent, crafty, and selfless approach to the game. He’s a dynamic playmaker who elevates those around him and competes on every possession. Despite his size, Knight embraces contact, using his strong frame and balance to bounce off defenders and finish effectively at the rim, often playing off two feet. He has a natural ability to get downhill, collapse the defense, and generate paint touches. His pace and timing stand out, especially in ball-screen situations where he creates advantages and keeps teammates involved. On the perimeter, Knight is a confident and efficient shooter both off the catch and off the dribble. His quick release allows him to get shots off before defenders can contest, and he complements that with a reliable floater to score over length in the lane. Defensively, Knight stays in a low, athletic stance and moves his feet well, applying pressure while using active hands to disrupt opposing guards. His motor and competitiveness consistently show on that end of the floor. Knight is the definition of a selfless floor general committed to winning in any way possible. Any program that lands him is not only getting a high-level guard, but also a high-character individual and leader. He is currently represented by
