The Imagine Nation Awards are presented annually and recognize schools and districts across the country for their exceptional use of Imagine Learning programs and for their commitment to supporting student growth. Edwards Academy was one of just 42 schools in the country to be named an Edgenuity School of Excellence. Congratulations to Carl Pleasant on his retirement. He has served public education for 48 years, with over 35 years in Temple ISD. In his last 19 years he led the Wheatley campus. I don’t know another educator in Temple with more fingerprints on the lives of children than Carl!

Special celebration of Coach McQueen’s endowed scholarship with the Temple Education Foundation. So many former players, coaches, & friends from the past here to honor him. When I come to things like this it reminds me why Temple is special. We love you Coach!
