From Keene State to UMBC
Coach Jim Ferry both played and started his coaching career in New Hampshire with the Keene State Owls.
He led the team in scoring during his Junior year and spent one year on staff as an assistant coach after graduating.

My tenure at the helm of @DeerfieldHoops comes to an end. Forever grateful to Bob Howe for hiring a guy who had zero head-coaching experience. Forever grateful for our players and families who believed in me.
Left it better than I found it and I am excited for what comes next!
Hard to see it come to an end, but so much to be proud of. Did something at a place where it’d never been done before, grew along the way, and changed the culture of Deerfield basketball. Beyond thankful for the support. The 2025-26 season will be one to remember. #GoBigGreen
