Nico Collins has a ton of good reps vs press… you want to get off the line… 1. You HAVE to get vertical at the DB in some fashion 2. Have a plan to move him off the lev you want/need (even an inch) 3. Execute with suddenness and violence #GetVerticalFirst

Curl / Stop / anything where you are shutting down and coming back to the QB - watch these clips! - Vertical off the line - Win lev. w/ speed - Violent throw by with near hand - Ensure fly by w/ back pad tap from off hand - Attack the ball!!! Textbook by Nico Collins

The thing most young WR’s don’t understand is nothing happens unless you get vertical at the DB! Pressed up = less space to cover, but the point is still the point. You have to move vertical first to have an effective release! Vertical first! Split at the line = jam city!

Great perspective from @NDFootball Coach Marcus Freeman (@Marcus_Freeman1) on why he feels he must remind his players to choose hard: "Struggle with what you have." Everyone starts from a different place. Some people are born on third base. Others have never even seen a triple. But growth isn't determined by where you begin, it's determined by the challenges you're willing to embrace. When you step onto the field, the court, or into any defining moment, nobody cares where you started. What matters is how you've prepared, how you've responded to adversity, and how you've conditioned yourself for the grinding opportunity in front of you. It's a daily choice. The hard way is the right way. Choose hard! Especially when life makes easy available.

Strong hands at the catch point, maintaining possession through contact. When the ball comes your way, your job is to secure it every time, eliminate drops, be reliable, and earn the quarterback’s trust. Your first responsibility is to catch the football. Your greatest skill is getting open.

Need ALL WR’s to take note on how Parker Washington had EMPHASIS on looking the ball in. These small details can help with concentration drops and increase chances of securing the catch.

When I said if you want it, you’ll find a way. This is the epitome of it. You don’t need fancy gyms and trainers to get work in. GREAT work @BrianGray0
