The best thing I can tell a new Head Coach is this: Most of the time the love you receive is fake, but the hate is ALWAYS real. Stay true to who you are.

The biggest takeaway so far @GBCALive is just how strong Georgia’s 2029 class is. No two prospects have impressed me more than the @graysonhoops duo of Jeremiah Anderson and Austin Leonard. Both will headline our underclassmen recap, which is set to be released on Monday.

5⭐️ Class of 2029 prospect Austin Leonard had a good showing in front of a sideline loaded with college coaches. Leonard’s game is so mature, and so is his frame. He does a good job of taking advantage of mismatches when attacking smaller defenders and getting downhill. He can shoot the lights out of the ball, and he just doesn’t make many of the mistakes you typically see from young players. He plays with a strong feel for the game and consistently makes the right decisions. Leonard is a high-level talent with a high ceiling, and you can tell that being highly touted at an early age hasn’t stunted his development at all. @hoopseen @GBCALive

‘27 | 6’7 | F | Byron Lee might be one of the biggest stock risers over the next few weekends as college coaches hit the road. Lee is a 6’7 forward with a good motor, and you can see the dawg in him every time he steps on the floor. He’s a reliable lob threat, rebounds at a high level, and isn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor and make a play. Defensively, he’s agile enough to protect the rim while also switching onto smaller guards and holding his own on the perimeter. Lee is a prospect that a lot of mid-major coaches should make a point to see over the next few weekends. @hoopseen @GBCALive

High-major talent was on display this evening as a loaded Grayson squad dominated GAC. MJ Curry looked every bit the part of a star in his return to the Grayson system, consistently knocking down jumpers, creating offense off the bounce, and showcasing his explosive athleticism throughout the game. He finished with 21 points in the win and was a major factor in Grayson’s dominant performance with a plethora of high major coaches in attendance. @hoopseen @GBCALive

MJ Curry is putting on a show tonight for Grayson with 21 points. He can score it on all three levels and has even finished above the rim with a couple of lob dunks. I won’t be surprised to see his recruitment pick up steam and his offer list continue to grow after this weekend.
