Partner with an executive coach.
I work with any and all professionals.
One common trait they all have—GROWTH MINDSET.
College coaches as you end your seasons it is a time to reflect, reevaluate and recharge. Partnering with an executive coach will provide a framework to accomplish all of it. Invest in yourself-could change the trajectory of your career.
My time as the head coach @nyuwomenshoops was 6 of the most rewarding professional years of my life. Loved coaching those strong, resilient young women. So happy for @CoachMegBarber and her unstoppable team!! #finish

Entitlement leads to bitterness. You’ll never have “enough” and you’ll never have what you think you deserve.
Gratitude leads to peace. You have more than enough, you have more than you deserve.
Gratitude is a superpower. Gratitude is a choice.
Our family is thrilled! We love being part of Great Dane community.
I am so proud of all @coachmull2 has accomplished. So grateful to the assistant coaches and players that make her vision a reality with their blood, sweat and tears.
Every leader has a ripple effect on those around them. Their impact keeps going from one person to the next.
What is your ripple effect? How would others describe it?
Empowering. Consistent. Resilient. Inclusive.
That's how I want my ripple effect to be described.
Anyone can be a leader. Don't wait to be given the title.
SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY and TAKE INITIATIVE
Moments to look for:
1. things are moving along status quo
2. times are challenging
See an opportunity and step into it.
Offer thoughtful solutions.
Take action.
Clarity is the ability to see what needs to be done.
Confidence is taking the action.
1. Have clearly defined values
2. Know your WHY (your purpose)
3. Let go of things you can't control or are of no importance
Make decisions based on your values and your WHY.
Yanked in different directions all day.
How do you accomplish what you need to for yourself and your program?
By staying focused on:
1. Who you are and Why you do what you do (Values)
2. What your goals are (Vision)
How do you stay grounded as a college coach?
Choose a simple, quick mantra. It should quickly bring you back to your VISION and VALUES.
Feeling overwhelmed, out of balance, or not focused?
Calmly say it to yourself. Repeat it.
You must know who YOU are if you want to LEAD OTHERS.
Ask yourself thoughtful questions
Take the time to HONESTLY answer
What is your North Star?
What guides you?
Do your processes fall in line with your vision?
When you get off course how do you get back on?
