Wemby entering villain status was not on my bingo card for the playoffs.

I can’t tell you how many times a coach complained to me about their summer participation and when I asked what he/she was doing to improve in the summer they said ā€œI’m too busyā€. šŸ¤” Don’t be a hypocrite

Wemby is starting to sound more and more like kind of a jerk
A Knicks fan claims Victor Wembanyama had him kicked out of a $20,000 Ritz-Carlton penthouse during the NBA Finals after a friend allegedly told Wemby, ā€œGood luck tonight, big guy,ā€ per @nypost The fan says his group spent $750,000 on Game 4 tickets and was removed from the hotel just minutes after the interaction. The Ritz-Carlton and Wembanyama’s agent did not respond to requests for comment. (Via nypost.com/2026/06/13/sports…)

Hoping to start a thread where coaches comment their stops in the journey. I’d love to see what the average path of a coach is. 3 years as a student assistant in college. 1 year as a freshmen coach 2 years as a JV coach 5 years as a varsity head coach

I hate this
Charles Barkley asked Ben Stiller how long he’s been a Knicks season-ticket holder and Ben kept it real 😭 ā€œI don’t have a season ticket. I just get the tickets. The celebrities… the Knicks give us the tickets.ā€

Hunter has been a big part of a weekly focus group here since he moved back to the area. Excited to bring this opportunity to all high school and middle school coaches! Highly recommend @CoachHPrice and his new book, Care to Compete!
Out of all the schools to bring in coaches during the summer for a workshop, @BCSD5_Athletics would have a valid excuse not to. After all the state title wins and appearances, conference championships, and records set this year they could insist they’re good how they are. But that’s what sets them apart. They constantly desire to get better. When you have a school that invests in its coaches you get good programs. When you have coaches that invest in their programs you get trophies. We got to have an awesome workshop tonight with a group of people that gave up a summer evening in order to make their programs better. I have an immense amount of respect for this group. Go Titans

What I’ve learned from playing a hundred hours of 82-0 - Moses Malone was a beast - Isaiah Thomas (DET)…not amazing stats for your lore - How did Steve Nash only score 17 ppg and 10 agp in a decade with 2 MVPs? - George Gavin must’ve been a walking bucket - Bernard King was the best player for like 3 different franchises - Charles Barkley, sorry for not respecting your game - Indiana has zero players in their franchise history with amazing stats

Nothing unites a nation like a dumb basketball game

The Knicks make it so you can’t ever turn off a game regardless of the deficit. It’s expected at this point. What an awesome gritty team to watch.

It’s a hard pill to swallow knowing that there are parents who spend an entire paycheck on tickets for their kids to go to a game (and could never afford this game) and yet millionaires are given free tickets for appearances.
Knicks celebrity list for Game 4 includes Rainn Wilson, Jimmy Fallon, Jerry Seinfeld and Kevin Jonas along with the Celebrity Row usuals such as Ben Stiller and Tracy Morgan.

Superstar NBA centers have historically gotten hammered by smaller players and had it disregarded by refs on the premise of size discrepancy. Wemby is the first I’ve ever seen do it back. And it’s shocking that it actually works. The refs are terrified to blow a whistle on him.

This is not the new release list. This is the best sellers list. Which blows my mind. Also, I’ll community note myself. This is not a basketball coaching book. This is a book for coaches of any sport. There are examples from multiple sports written throughout. If you did buy a copy, thank you so much. It’d help if you left a review on Amazon.
