Seeing a lot of KU fans projecting KU problems onto college sports as a whole. Plenty of other programs have no problem retaining players. “College sports suck now” is just what losers say
Ben McCollum was coaching Northwest Missouri State two years ago in the D-2 tourney.
Last year he took Drake to the NCAA tourney.
This year he's taking Iowa to the Sweet 16.
Bill Self was asked if after missing 4 straight second weekends if KU needed a new identity:
He said no, and instead feels like they need to do a better job evaluating and recruiting.
Thoughts?
Wasted a $250 ticket to watch a middle school basketball team who has never practiced a press break. Four years in a row no second weekend. This was so predictable. Something got to change. This is mediocre basketball. We’ve fallen off a cliff from the team who won 8 straight in.
Any D1/D2 programs still with scholarship money? I have a 49 flat 400 meter runner and 1:55 800 meter. DM me for info. He prefers Midwest area with a good culture…
