Thank you to all of the young men and their families who joined us for our official visits this year. Putting on these incredible weekends would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of our incoming recruits who have chosen to put their faith and future in our Cal Poly football family. The choice in coming to Cal Poly isn’t just a 4 year decision it’s a 40 year decision. One that will impact the trajectory of a players entire life. Not only are you going to be coached and mentored by former NFL players and coaches, first round NFL Draft picks, and Super Bowl champions, but you are going to get an education that will set you up to succeed for a lifetime. Our football staff knows what it takes to succeed at this level, and are ready to coach you to be the best player and person you can be. Mustangs succeed in every aspect of life and never settle for anything less than being champions. For our class of 2024 commits, thank you for allowing me to impact you and your families. As my first year as a Director of Player Personnel and Recruiting, I couldn’t have been blessed with a better class. It’s not going to be easy. At Cal Poly we will hold you to a high standard of relentless effort, determination, toughness, and competitiveness every single day. God has given y’all so many blessings and abilities that 99% of this world do not have. We know you will come prepared to work hard to achieve the ultimate goal: championships. To the class of 2025, you are going to have one of the biggest years in your life this upcoming season. Step up to the challenge and show up to compete every single day, because this will bring out the best in you and your team. Show love to the game, work endlessly for it, and through faith and hard work you will have a life that most only dream of. As coach Asa Jackson says “Success is not owned it’s rented and the rent is due everyday!” Go out and be all you can be, never let anything stop you from your dreams, and do whatever it takes to achieve success.
