TP Update: Dior Johnson’s story is one of scoring at every level. At Clarendon he averaged 29.7 points, had two 50-point games, a 58-point masterpiece, multiple double-doubles, a triple-double, and became the NJCAA’s leading scorer and a First Team All-American.
He arrived at UCF and played a role in all 35 games, but the minutes didn’t match the firepower. Now at Tarleton State, the numbers look familiar again. Johnson is averaging 24 points while shooting 57.1 percent from three and 57.7 percent from the field.
The portal didn’t change his trajectory. It reconnected him with it.
