Smart pivot of the age-based model by the NCAA to get rid of HS graduation/expected HS graduation as a trigger to start your eligibility clock. Basically makes the NCAA a U-23 league and keeps prep school alive as an option for players who graduate HS on the younger side.

I've talked to a handful of coaches and the consensus is that these LATE offers by D1s to kids who haven't had D1 offers up until now is that they are mostly out of NIL/Rev Share and their final scholarship or two are what PWOs used to be.

Truly honored and grateful to announce that I am the new Head Coach of the Boys National Prep Basketball Team and Director of Basketball Programs at Brewster Academy.
Growing up in New Hampshire, I watched this program rise on the national stage and had the opportunity to compete against it in the NEPSAC. To now return and lead the basketball program with such rich history, tradition, and national excellence is incredibly meaningful.
I want to sincerely thank Head of School Kristy Kerin and the entire Brewster Academy administration for their trust and belief in me. Iβm also deeply appreciative of everyone who has supported and guided me along the way, this opportunity is a reflection of all of you.
To Hargrave, the past three years were special. Iβm going to miss each and every one of you! Always and forever Hargrave Family.
Most importantly, I thank God. None of this would be possible without Him.

Jhett is rated the #146 player in the country per @Rivals & Top 300 per the Rivals/On3 industry ratings. The 6β6β wing and NPC All-American helped lead Hargrave Military to several tournament championships, including the EPL championship, the First Piedmont Corp. Invitational championship and the FUMA Christmas Tournament title.
Jhett was selected to the All-Elite Prep League 1st team, as well as 1st team All-Defense. Carter put on a clinic at the National Prep Showcase, solidifying him as one of the top prep school players in the country.
