Lot of respect for someone who turns down $113 million and values WINNING above the payday Man, that’s different
In a largely unprecedented financial concession to give roster flexibility to a contender, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson has agreed on a four-year, $156.5 million extension, his agent Sam Rose of CAA tells ESPN --- $113M less guaranteed than he’s eligible to receive in one year.

The Thunder and Spurs have Championship grit And maybe or probably the Knicks Cavs DON’T Two of top players aren’t committed enough on defense and winning plays

Little things matter
I was at the NBA Draft Combine last week and was reminded how the 'little things' can often make all the difference. #MondayMindset @PGCbasketball @PGC_Coaching

Facts DJ has had a strong Spring so far Along with his teammates, they are competing and performing well
DJ Mitchell once averaged 26 ppg and six made 3’s per game in a 4-game span during a RYZE event. Safe to say you can’t leave him open from three. ➡️ @Djmitchell0 ➡️ @BCBBall_ 💻 ryzehoops.com/post/from-the-…

If the supposed best player isn’t committed on both ends of the floor… Can the team really ever be serious championship level team? You either are about Winning or Losing

Well done young fellas
BCB Monroe 15U secured a 37-19 win over Iron City Hoops, setting the tone with aggressive defense and control on both ends. Semaj Ansley led all scorers by consistently producing offensively, while K. Free dominated the paint as a big, finishing strong and controlling the interior. For Iron City, Elijah Mason stood out offensively & kept them in contention throughout.

Playing vs Competing Most players play Few players really compete Some coaches say they don’t coach effort. They don’t coach attitude…even some of the best in the game will say it But, they actually do. That’s why their teams play harder than other teams. That’s why their programs year in and year out are tougher Competing is a skill. It’s a standard. It has to be defined. It can be created in practice. Practice design matters. Daily messaging matters

Yea. I feel awful for that kid Watched his post game interview in locker room and he faced it head on, owned it, blamed himself for loss… Was very impressed with him And everything people say about him and brother and everything you observe….these guys are WINNERS so, it’s also an example that winners and champions have low moments I hope for his sake he can help lead his team back there and have a big moment in a big game that goes his way so this doesn’t haunt him
Replying to @CoachSamAllen
You would think a guy that won every age group of the EYBL won four state championships in the state of Florida at the highest classification and had USA basketball success would know that. I think he had a brain fart and his fundamentals betrayed him.

Passing out of TRAPS The #DukeUConn game last night is another example (just on a national stage) of what I see at all levels… Players trying to pass over the top of traps…that rarely is the right basketball play unless you are a Big or player with great length Faking high and bounce passes around the defenders or step-thru after a fake is the play 95% of the time to make
