Today we honor Mother Viola Fletcher on her heavenly birthday. 🤍 At 7 years old, she survived the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. At 107, she testified before Congress. At 109, she published her memoir, Don’t Let Them Bury My Story. She lived 111 years as a beacon of resilience, truth, and unyielding faith. I was proud to stand with her in the Senate fight to enshrine Greenwood — Black Wall Street — as a national monument so her story is never forgotten. Rest in power, Mother Fletcher. Your light still guides us. #ViolaFletcher #MotherFletcher #BlackWallStreet #Greenwood #TulsaRaceMassacre

Sinners didn’t just perform at the Oscars, it brought its entire world to the stage. Miles Caton and Raphael Saadiq delivered the Oscar-nominated “I Lied to You,” turning the Dolby Theatre into the film’s blues-soaked juke joint. #Oscars #MilesCaton #Sinners
