Had a great start to camp season at North Central College! Thanks to all the NCC players and coaches that helped develop me as a corner and football player. Some highlights from my combine was a 4.4 40yd dash and a 10’3 broad jump.

Finn was a dog!
Senior Finn Shultz story will be one of my all-time favorites in my coaching career but it ended today missing state by just 2 inches jumping 6.71m (22’0.25”). I can’t even describe how proud I am of Finn going from 17 feet indoors to 22 feet, insane story and an even better kid.

Sophomore baseball player Hari Santhanam came out for track and field this year and I’m glad he did as he is a stud athlete! He jumped 19’11.75” to take home 5th place. Selfishly I hope he quits baseball to do track but love to see athletes competing!

Junior Kim Aviles had never jumped over 40 feet and wasn’t in our conference lineup but the day before, we put him in and he jumped a huge PR of 41’7” taking home 7th place in a competitive field at DVC Conference. More to come outdoors!

Huge series last night from Junior Matt Russo. Seeded 12th going in DVC and delivered much needed points for the team.
PR before meet: 13.39m(43’11)
Made finals with a 13.88m.
Every throw in finals was over 14m! Finished w/ 14.83m(48’8) toss and finished 4th!
