I ran a marathon. I constantly think about this video that my college head coach showed our team in 2014. This navy seal is so hilariously dressed, but “not dead, can’t quit” rocks so hard.

Minnesota-Moorhead QB Jack Strand (@JackStrand5) was big time once again in 2025, earning AFCA Second Team All-America honors.
The Bloomer, Wisconsin native threw for 3,546 yards and 42 TDs, setting a new school record. He also added 288 yards and 5 TDs on the ground.
Strand is the top D2 prospect for the NFL Draft and gives me some Carson Palmer vibes.

We'll write a lot about Lavonte David's career in coming days, but the stat that always pops out to me: 177 career tackles for loss, tied for fourth most in NFL history, which is insane for a player whose primary job wasn't to rush the passer. Next closest LB? Urlacher with 138.

I only have 1 D2 player projected to get drafted and that is MSU Moorhead QB Jack Strand. He was at NDSU Pro Day, 6037, 243 pounds with a 4.78 40, 35 VJ, 10'1 broad, and has enough arm strength. 4-time All-NSIC, 2-time NSIC OFF POY, and 2025 All-American. 6th-7th rd projection.

Old school coach memory. Next time you share your dislike for Hudl. Consider this.
It’s Friday night, your game film is on VHS. You gotta stack several VCRs together so you can make copies for your team. 6 hours later, 24 copies made.
Then you get up the next day to drive a copy across town to your next week opponent. You exchange film.
Head home to make more VCR copies to only find out the scout copy was crap. Some jr high kid shot the film.
You move forward with making more copies. Then spend your day driving them around town to your starters.
