“I’m Quick as well” betta put some respect on her name. Actin like she not 60m Natty champ already!
"You know who's behind her? EVERYBODY." Shenese Walker wins the women's 100m with a time of 10.88. #NCAATF x 🎥 ESPN2 / @FSU_Track

A head coach who answers your emails personally is telling you something about the culture of that program. Pay attention to that.

Dan Hurley shares a blunt reminder about what it takes to be great. "If you can't sit through an hour and 15 minute video session...get out of this industry because this is only for the most competitive people." The film room isn't glamorous. It's tedious, repetitive, and easy to zone out, but that's exactly why it separates. The ones who consistently work even when it's boring are the same ones who execute when it matters. Greatness isn't for the interested - it's for the ones who embrace the boredom of consistency. (🎥@CollegeGameDay)

Getting Ghosted by athletes that would not win or make our conference final just because we’re D2 might be one of the must humbling experiences lol

check TFRRS before signing to a school. Look at the coaches track record, athlete development, conference results, and who they've actually helped improve. Don't just pick the school that offered more without those details you end up in the portal! The coach matters!

Competing when you are in the race or have a shot is easy. Being a true competitor is being able to put out the same effort even when you are losing and there's little hope of a victory.

In the recruitment process, if you can’t identify talent as a coach, you’re gonna miss out on a lot of Gems. Not every athlete is developed the same in HS. The ability to see raw talent or potential is a skill.

A loyal assistant coach is one of the most valuable things in a program. They keep the locker room steady. They reinforce standards. They make the head coach better. Behind every strong program… there’s usually a strong coaching staff.

All you need is for one coach to take a chance on you. One opportunity to earn a degree while playing the game you love. One offer can change your life.

As the outdoor season approaches for colleges, HS athletes need to be aware of 2 things: 1) the portal opens in May, don’t drag your feet “hoping” for better 2) Roster limits are in effect (D1) and schools will not be able to go over 45 athletes per gender, don’t drag your 👣
