I had an athlete who has made a lot of excuses for “missing breakfast” a few days in a row and he’s had less energy. I asked her to show me her screen time and it was 5 hours and 53 minutes from the day before. But you didn’t have time for breakfast? Worse yet her mom had 7 hours of screen time. We’re on our phones way too much. 😱
I get it . I run a business but if you’re not taking care of your “business” as a student athlete I.e.:
☑️Breakfast/3 meals a day
☑️8 hours of sleep
☑️100 oz of fluid
☑️Protein carbs would training
☑️Homework/work/reading done
You have no business snap chatting and going on TikTok if you’re not taking care of your controllables that directly influence your health and performance.
