Excited to be announcing the official launch of my own training business, PHD Hoops!
โPHD Hoopsโ stems from something one of the best coaches I ever had would say- my Dad. Be passionate, work hard and dedicate time to your craft. Not only in hoops but in life! Letโs work!
Omaha Westside and Chaminade (MO) are locked in a grinder.
Westside junior Darien Jenkins has turned some heads. Keeping the Warriors in it by scoring in a variety of ways and hasnโt missed yet.
PG1! D2โs and NAIA - heโs worth the look! Great facilitator, guards the best player, gets to the rim and is sneaky athletic. Gaining more confidence from 3 and putting it all together. Check him out!
Not back till July but hereโs how the first half went, thank you to @MidwestRootsBB community for everything they do for us as athletes and we are willing to come back stronger for coming tournaments

Second Creighton tie for this Westside team: sophomore Dom Deren is the son of former Bluejay Brody Deren.
He has a couple finishes off the glass plus a baseline jumper in the second half. Strong lefty.
Catch-and-shoot 3 for Westsideโs Darien Jenkins to close out the third quarter.
Heโs poised for a breakout junior season. Good size and athleticism, uses his body well to score around the rim and an improving jump shooter.
This is a team I love to watch. Unselfish, fast pace, creative and free. Every player has the same goal to find the best opportunity to score for each other.. not something you see very often in summer ball.
