Johnny “Flash” Thornton was a mainstay at all athletic events across Cullman Co. and the state of AL. I will definitely miss hearing his broadcast & seeing him on the sidelines at Wallace St. “Flash” left an amazing legacy! Sports will be different w/o him around. Rest in Peace⚡️
We are saddened by the passing of Hall of Fame sports broadcaster/reporter Johnny “Flash” Thornton. He loved promoting all sports in Cullman County and had a profound impact on covering sports at Wallace State. He will be missed, but never forgotten! ⚡️🐐
