As I continue to sit in AAU gyms and watch game after game after game. The more I realize how valuable shooting is. Almost everyone can at some level get to the basket (not saying everyone can do it at a high level) but there are maybe 1 to 2 guys every game that can legit space the floor and have a shooters mentality. #aaubasketball #highschoolbasketball

Shifty guard Paul Marte (2028) has all the tools. Uses screens well, makes the right read, abt to make smart backdoor slips for a bucket. Aggressive on-ball defender who frustrates opponents, runs the offense, sets the table, and can knock down 3s. Fun to watch.

Jack Atkinson (@jackatkinson_10)(@abovebbacademy) is an unsuspecting killer in the half court. A guy who doesn’t need the ball much to be effective and takes advantage of his touches. Atkinson found his looks off good ball movement and backdoor cuts. He finished with 17p (15 in the second half) along with 3 bombs from beyond the arc.

Bennett Crist (@abovebbacademy) is a polished inside scorer who can operate in the post or from the perimeter. Quickness combined with his finesse gives defenses problems when trying to figure out how to guard Crist. He finished with 18p and 12r

Aaden Curry (@NGUATL) is a lengthy athletic shot blocker who swats everything in his vicinity. He had over 5 blocked shots in both games today that I watched. An elite rim protector with a lot of potential on the offensive side of the ball as well.

Zion Bryant (@WLE2028Parson) finished a strong performance on the offensive side of the ball with 16p. He’s a guy who knows how to fill it up, taking advantage of isolation scenarios and exploiting defenders when he gets a step. Solid prospect that is a great addition to an already loaded Warriors Life Elite group.

Zaccai Lee (@zacca_ihoops)(@WLE2028Parson) put on another defensive masterclass. Blocking shots and shooting passing lanes as well as staying in front of the ball consistently. I’m telling you this guy will be someone you want to jump on now if you are a college coach.

Jaleek Parson (@WLE2028Parson) deserves all the recognition he will be getting this summer. A high intensity guard who does whatever it takes to win. If it means scoring he will torch you in transition. If he is asked to facilitate he does so at an extremely high level. True gamer who has a great feel for high pressure moments.
