In 2023, it was FOUR HUNDRED PERCENT more likely for a fired white coach to get replaced by a white coach than it was for a fired black coach to get replaced by a black coach.

Utah State is expected to hire UNI head coach Ben Jacobson, source told @thefieldof68.
Jacobson, 55, has been the head coach at UNI since 2006 and has won 397 games in his time with the Panthers.
Jacobson went to back-to-back NCAA tournaments in 2015 and 2016, and took UNI to the tourney this season.

Really like this hire. JUCO head coaches already have tough jobs but figuring out how to win and win consistently regardless of the terms and resources is what makes great coaches great, wish him luck.
