We've shown the benefits of #CFD for the #design or expansion of #wastewater treatment plants. Other applications can benefit from CFD predictions of free surface flows for influent structures, such as the #OilSands, a very #water intensive process.

#Multiphase flow regimes can be characterized by experimental techniques such as flow #visualization and laser-based measurements. If the liquid is not transparent, or flow conditions are too harsh, liquid #conductivity #measurements may be used instead.
