Itβs no secret that the MSPLOST voting results were a huge disappointment, but it came as no surprise.
Itβs hard to get an electorate to support a long-term tax increase for a service very few use in such a short time frame.
Our work continues. Transit will continue to expand.

The new microtransit pilot launched in Cobb County yesterday!
We rode it a few times and a $2.50 trip replaced what would have been a $20 trip on Uber.
This could be gamechanging for suburban transit:
1. Connects riders to fixed transit routes
2. Door to door transit rides

Today is the first day in most of our lives that expanded transit is on the ballot in Cobb County.
MSPLOST is the final question on the ballot and if it passes, will fund expanded transit services in Cobb County for the next 30 years.
