Epic. This really is a Cretaceous nature documentary, like you're there watching the final days of the dinosaurs.
An honor to help brainstorm and consult on this over the last decade (yikes).
Kudos @MikeGunton@TetZoo@CockroachFilms@Jon_Favreau & the fab team. Legends!
OK, hello and let's go as I #livetweet during a watch of ep 1 of #PrehistoricPlanet! I'll try and keep everything in the same thread. This is the COASTS ep - 1 of 5 - that will be streaming one a day on @AppleTVPlus ... Here we go!
I really dig this subtle worldbuilding approach of Prehistoric Planet by adding spots and stripes specifically to its Tyrannosaurs, like they are the Felidae of Theropods. It adds a believable, consistent layer to it, like these are real predators adapting to their environment.
And you may find yourself across the street from a crematorium
And you may find yourself next door to a dildo store
And you may find yourself at a press conference
And you may find yourself in front of a landscaping business
And you may ask yourself, "Well... how did I get here?"
The polls look good. So what. That doesn't mean anything. This will be a very close race in state after state after state. In the next 3 days please do all you can to get everyone you know to vote. We can't have 4 more years of Trump.

We need to change our national priorities.
I’m willing to hold you accountable for lying about climate change for 30 years when you secretly knew the entire time that fossil fuels emissions would destroy our planet 😇
OK, this was collected on an Isle of Wight beach which has previously yielded Cretaceous dinosaur tracks. What do we think? I have an opinion on it but want to know what others think. Thanks :) Paging @Ichnologist @PaleoStu and anyone else into tracks...
Woke up to the news of the oil spill in Mauritius and the collapse of the Milne ice shelf, the day after the third hottest day on record in the UK, in the middle of a global pandemic.
We have to stop destroying our planet.
