The Papa Fire, located east of Flagstaff, is roughly 100 acres and additional firefighting resources have been requested.

Bell Rock Vista will temporarily close 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 15 for maintenance and improvement projects conducted with Friends of the Forest Sedona.

The West Fire, located on the Mogollon Rim Ranger District in the West Clear Creek area, is 50% contained. Firefighters continue to respond to the fire with a full suppression strategy.
Firefighters are responding to the 5-acre West Fire located in the West Clear Creek area, roughly 4.5 miles west of Clints Well. Expect increased fire vehicle traffic along area roads, including state Route 87 and nearby forest roads.
Our Headquarters, Flagstaff Ranger Station and Mogollon Rim Ranger Station will be closed today in observance of the federal holiday.
Our Red Rock Ranger Visitor Center -- and the greater national forest -- will remain open for your enjoyment.

✅Campfires only in Forest Service provided metal rings at developed campgrounds and picnic areas.
✅Use of propane or liquid-fuel stoves with 3 feet of cleared space.
✅Smoking within an enclosed vehicle or building or in an open, developed recreation site.
