TC stuck to the task, pulled a goal back and almost grabbed a second in the closing minutes. Put a few the missus took as well to keep her happy.

A busy few days on the road in Hull, Whitby and Southampton so it was good to just potter down the road and stay local watching Thornton Cleveleys in Cup action under the lights against Radcliffe.

Good entertainment this afternoon down Longridge way where Bradford squeezed past PNE women in the FA Cup. Some good possession and attacking play by North End but it wasn't to be.

The visitors pulled a goal back in the third minute of stoppage time but it wasn't to be. A competitive game, very watchable for the neutral.
