Last week, Uganda made history with the launch of its very first satellite, The PearlAfricaSat-1. In partnership with the Japanese government, with the Presidential Directive on Space Technology, Uganda is able to greatly further its efforts in space exploration.

Fun fact: Kaza Solar Dryer supported by @AfricaResilient and @USAID is currently the only company in Uganda that sells these solar food dryers (to my knowledge) at a cost of 2-2.5million. I’ve so far spent less than 200k.
