github.com/mevinngugi small daily improvements will make a whole difference by the end of the year! Keep learning, keep on going after that 1% improvement a day! #Alx_SE#ALX_PDBE#ALX_BE
For the #alx_pd pipping challenge, I decided to tackle something that I had never seen before. Counting the number of processes.
To start off I used this as my prompt. Making sure to include a task, persona, context and tone.
See if you can identify the 4 components below
It also prompted me to take up a challenge to build my own pipeline. The challenge: Count the number of Python processes running on your system. Let me also see you attempt that. We are learning together…
Will I use AI again? Hell yeah!! This would have taken me probably an hour sifting through tutorials online to find an explanation that I can relate to. But using AI it was a matter of minutes plus it also gave me a challenge to try on my own. #alx_pd#alxpd@alxafrica
After knowing my learning style, Kinaesthetic/Practical learners, I now fully understand why I easily find myself going back to Chat GPT for a debugging session. It’s quick, had a huge learning base and 90% of the time it will point me to the right direction #ALXPD@alxafrica
Do you know your learning style? Take this short quiz on learningstylequiz.com/ and find out now!! Mine is Kinaesthetic. I like to touch, taste, smell, and be active within the lesson in order to best process and remember what they are learning #ALXPD@alxafrica
May AI be with you...
Your response: And also with you
This is my take away from the AI prompting topic in my ALX ProDev program. When AI used properly it enables you to be come a master at your craft. Think of AI as the mentor you wished you had. #ALXPD@alxafrica
Building community around you is one of the best things you can do as you endeavour to pick up a new skill or habit. For example, if you’d want to be good at running, join a running club. Similarly, ALX community is my new running club. Now run code! #ALXPD#ALXLearnLoud
