Two wonderful days spent at #GenU2022 in Copenhagen! Thanks to the organizers and speakers for making it possible. The “agora” for talks was spectacular 👀
#Uncertainties should be deduced - not learned! In our #Neurips2022 đź“°, we develop a (1) post-hoc Laplacian autoencoder with good latent uncertainties, (2) an online training procedure that improves the output variance, and (3) a hessian approximation that scales to large images!
Congratulations to @rasbjo (DTU Energy) and @jesfrellsen (DTU Compute) for the Villum Synergy grant for the project 'Physics-aware machine learning', and thank you to @VILLUMFONDEN for the generous support.
The unique conference about Generative models and uncertainty quantification, runs today and tomorrow at the Carlsberg Academy with a very interesting program genu.ai/2022/. #GenU22
