Great news! We've updated our API. Previously, our API only had one Free tier which was limited to 180 requests/min. We now have 2 tiers which are both still Free: one which does not require an API key and one which does.

The non-key version has been upgraded to 200 requests/min and the key version has been upgraded to a generous 500 requests/min. This is equal to our competitors paid tiers but is free to you! You can find our documentation and more details here: docs.coincap.io/

We're aware of a recent issue that stuck users in an "update loop" or crashed the app during user/before opening. We are working on this now and will keep you posted as we fix. Apologies for the inconvenience.

We have pushed an update that should fix the issue with CoinCap crashing. It will be downloaded automatically if you restart your app. Please let us know if you are still having issues with the app crashing.

We recently upgraded to PostgreSQL (10). This upgrade brought about issues we're diligently working to fix. Most notably, we're aware of slower performance of the site, app, and API and that we have intermittent outages on change in 24hr percentages. Thank you for your support!

We've fixed the issue with altfolios showing "USD" instead of the correct asset (MATIC for example). However, if you added an asset like MATIC on top of the broken asset showing as "USD", it will merge the transactions. You can simply delete the incorrect one(s) and should be ok!

Hey all! We're aware of a recent bug that affected some altfolios. This happened because a number of assets changed their branding. We're working now for a solution that should retroactively fix your altfolios. Sorry for the inconvenience!
