It’s a dark day in America. The out-of-touch politicians in Washington decided to pass a bill that will close 35 rural hospitals in KY, eliminate 20k jobs, and terminate healthcare for 200k Kentuckians. This is not right. This is a prime example of how closed door deals are made to hurt the American people. #kysen #stevensonforsenate

The bill that just passed the Senate is going to devastate Kentucky. Over 200,000 Kentuckians will lose health care and 35 of our rural hospitals will face closure --all to give tax benefits to people making over $500 million dollars. This bill is great for those rolling in money, but not good for every day Kentuckians -- terminating healthcare is devastating for children, working families, the elderly, the disabled, and veterans. This is NOT what the American people voted for.
