Great topic today at the Veterans Bridge Home VBH Luncheon 🇺🇸 , fellow veterans had the honor to hear from the 🏈 NFLPA Charlotte Chapter President Colin Cole about the collaborative work he and the NFL Players Association is doing in the Carolina’s. He spoke about the similarities between the Military and Football players, especially when it comes to, once your career has ended. Iowa Wrestling Coach Tom Brands publicly apologizes Wednesday to Wisconsin wrestler Austin Gomez for the incident last weekend at Carver-Hawkeye Arena

A rare instance where I caught a bit of footage of this incident, but I will not share it… it was real bad. The “fans” screaming obscenities at Gomez don’t deserve any exposure. Hopefully Iowa’s investigation finds and reprimands those responsible.

I don’t owe this to anyone but I wanted to make a statement about what happened this past weekend at CHA. I appreciate all the support from everyone. The Wisconsin faculty and I have been contacted and have a phone call set up for tomorrow with personnel from Iowa. GO BADGERS
