Calling all impact investors in Latin America and the Caribbean! Help @CollabFFinance understand the impact of #COVID19 on the capital provider ecosystem. Respond to the survey now 📑
#impinv#LATAM#Caribbean
Capital providers in sub-Saharan Africa have been supporting the local small and growing business (SGB) ecosystem by providing financing to businesses that would otherwise not have access to it.
Before the onset of #COVID19 and mandated lock-downs, the SGBs that local capital providers were investing in were healthy.
Between September 2019-March 2020:
✅ 64% were experiencing >10% revenue growth
✅ 53% were experiencing >10% growth in operating cash flows
This is just one of many findings from our recent survey of capital managers that target SGBs in emerging markets, helping us to better understand the impact of the pandemic and a pathway forward.
