One thought - which we turned into a site tool - is to re-seed the MP bracket based FIRST on Regional seeding THEN by NCAA SP finish. Another thought: allow the SP🥇 to choose their #8 opp

Although Luke Poulter lost 6&4 today, it MUST be pointed out the guy has played incredible MP golf
His bogey-free streak went from the 2025 QF (1up loss to Tommy Morrison) ***all the way thru 2025 SF (1up loss to Ben James) & to hole 13 today

Not only has the Williams/Pollo match been sneaky amazing, it's been sneaky historic!

Caught this moment earlier from @Vol_Golf where one of their guys decided to walk in after the team lost out in the playoff. The whole team came down to meet him and support him. Awesome to see. I hope our foundation gets to work with these guys cuz this is what it’s all about.

Just to put a bow on this, here is the cutline data generated from the 2026 #NCAAMGolf championship
We can see that yet again it was not advantageous to be ON the top8 cutline going into that final round (now 1/5 at La Costa 2024-26) 🤷🏼♂️

Things may get pretty wild for the 2025 champs (Ok St) to repeat:
First they must defeat the 2023 champs (Florida), where the odds suggest they would meet the 2024 champs (Auburn), and then finally they may face the 2022 champs (Texas) in the Finals 🤯

A little match play seeding tidbit...
We've seen playoffs to get into match play in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2019, and 2023. ***NONE of those playoff winning teams have advanced past Quarterfinals
We'll see how #7 seed UCLA & #8 seed Stanford fare in 2026 🤷🏼♂️
