Neighbourhood policing is a specialism, requiring problem-solving and partnership working to protect communities from evolving threats. Our neighbourhood policing programme (NPP) is building the specialist capabilities neighbourhood teams need to keep communities safe.

ALT Over 21,000 officers and PCSOs have started the neighbourhood policing programme online learning and 17,248 have completed all 20 modules... resulting in an average 62% increase in knowledge and understanding after course completion, compared to the pre-course assessment. Learn more about the neighbourhood policing programme online and classroom-based learning on the College of Policing website.
