Today, I had the privilege of visiting Rock of Ages in Melfort, Goromonzi, Zimbabwe, and witnessed the incredible work being done to care for vulnerable children and restore hope to families in need.
Together with my colleagues from the
@CollenMashFound , we donated food, clothing, toys, and beds for the children. This is just the beginning of our partnership. Rock of Ages is one of many centres and community initiatives that we will be supporting as we expand our efforts to fight poverty and improve lives across Zimbabwe.
The visit was also a reminder that, as Africans, our struggles and aspirations are deeply connected. At a time when immigration issues continue to create tension in South Africa and elsewhere, we must remember that our humanity comes before our borders. Poverty and inequality know no nationality, and the solution lies in unity, compassion, and collective action.
Let us choose kindness, love, and understanding towards one another. Africa is strongest when we stand together and uplift those who are most vulnerable.
