Tonight we took Molly for walkies at Pippin’s favourite place. As we got back to the car we met this beautiful filly who will forever be known to me as Pippa 🥺🐾💔🌈🐴

A whole month has passed… and I can honestly say the heartbreak is the same now as it was the day I said goodnight to my darling boy 😢🐾💔 the house is so empty. I miss the little “woof” to get my attention and the way he’d follow me everywhere.

Dearest friends.. last night I took my last great adventure over the rainbow bridge 🌈💔🐾 I was at peace at the end and went to sleep lying in mum’s arms whilst she gave me the biggest hugs.

My leg was very sore first thing this morning and I didn’t want to put weight on it. But it improved after my medicine and we went for a short walkies at the castle. Now I’m catching up on my sleep 😴❤️🩹🐾

Mum says it’s an emotional roller coaster but I had a more comfortable night. I also ate all my medicine like a good boy 🐾❤️🩹 my leg dressing needs changing more frequently but I’m quite happy and playful today. Long may it continue and the drugs start helping my swelling ❤️🩹🐾🍀

Mum had to take me back to hospital yesterday and I had my chest drained. There was 1 lt of fluid 😢 after talking to the vet, we are trying another drug for my PLE (which is causing me to have fluid build up and some breathing problems). Hoping this drug will help ❤️🩹🐾

Back from the vet hospital. The vet is still very guarded about the long term prognosis because of my PLE as my albumin levels are very low… BUT he was pleased with the affect that lowering the steroid dose has had on my open leg wound. It is looking better.

The plan is to keep the drugs as they are for now and give the diet changes more time to work. I next go to hospital a week on Thursday unless mum is unhappy with my breathing or my leg wound when dressing it: so fingers crossed everyone. ❤️🩹🐾❤️🩹🐾❤️🩹

I’m feeling a bit under the weather again today. I’m sleeping a lot. Mum is still worried about the dressing and thinks my foot is a bit swollen again. She has spoken to the vet plus sent photos, and they have called me in to see them tomorrow ❤️🩹🐾
