Earlier today, I met with officers of the Collin County Sheriff’s Office who were assisted by ICE with serving search and arrest warrants for two illegal aliens from Honduras wanted by the state of Texas for homicide. ICE lodged immigration detainers on the aliens while they remain in the custody of the county pending homicide charges.
When ICE and state/local law enforcement work together, these are the results—public safety threats off our streets. We appreciate our state and local law enforcement partners who work with us to make our communities safer. President Trump promised the American people that we will do just that, and we are not backing down… only ramping up.
