According to the Hardvard Graduate School of Education, instructional coaches are not simply coaching teachers to teach but also coaching teachers to learn. I value these ladies so much. Their expertise is so important in our District. @RoyseCityISD

Day three of our Summer Learning Camp. Today I had the pleasure to support one of my Dual Language teachers. When you receive information from your colleagues, it is more credible and effective. @RC_BilingualESL @ty_nelson22 @lacy_packard @RoyseCityISD

Today I visited some classes. Students were engaged with their text in 2nd grade and the 3rd graders were helping each other come with math problem solutions. The students fluidly communicated in Spanish and English. The Joy of being Bilingual. ❤️❤️❤️

PLC is an opportunity to collaborate and share ideas. When PLC is well established, we all see the value in it. Great conversations at Fort Elementary today.

What happens when Dual Language meets Gifted & Talented? Magic. Last week, our teams united to lead professional development on differentiated learning. We aren't just telling teachers to collaborate; we are modeling exactly what that looks like. Plan together, our students win.

Let’s ensure that our teachers have a space to meet, learn and exchange ideas. When your teachers are in different schools so you create virtual PD. Today’s session was amazing. @Mimarquezz Thank you for all your help. I am so glad we work so well together.
