32 years after Kennedy was elected, in what many viewed with suspicion, and with goals that targeted heritage Americans, the effects of the Kennedy election are seen clearly:
The political disenfranchisement of Whites and the ascendancy of the Democrat machine
The CRA, VRA, FHA, Welfare entitlements, education federalization, Hart-Celler, HUD-Act, Vietnam, and federal NGO expansion
All of it worked towards one goal, destroying White political power and the middle class
Everything we want undone today can be attributed to Kennedy’s election and subsequently LBJ’s
If Nixon had flipped 20k votes, no question America would be radically different
People were convicted of voter fraud in Illinois, but it was never enough to start an investigation. Kennedy was closely tied to organize crime, Illinois’ political machine was at least questionably corrupt, and LBJ had the Texas Democrat political machine
