EWP Before and After Series: Day 38 - Lower Fourmile Creek (Poormans). An extremely narrow corridor in a narrow canyon. @MBakerIntl did a great job designing this project in anticipation of future roadway improvements to come. #coloradoewp

EWP Before and After Series: Day 37 - State Highway 60 on the South Platte River. This was the easternmost project of the program. The project was constructed in about three months. Plenty of landowner challenges here, but CH2M patiently persevered. #coloradoewp

EWP Before and After Series: Day 36 - Area 3 on Coal Creek. This is the 3rd of 3 projects (two previously posted) completed for the EWP program on Coal Creek. This was a small area just downstream of an existing culvert that was stabilized via EWP. #coloradoewp

EWP Before and After Series: Day 35 - Fawn Valley on Fall River. This project was a tale of two reaches, one highly incised and located directly next to structures and the other with significant aggradation and an avulsion. #coloradoewp

EWP Before and After Series: Day 34 - Green Bridge on the Little Thompson River. An undersized bridge that provides local access caused significant aggradation during the 2013 flood event. This project restored the river, but the bridge remains a long-term concern. #coloradoewp

EWP Before and After Series: Day 32 - Streamcrest on Left Hand Creek. This project was located in an alluvial fan that deposited massive sediment during the 2013 flood. A couple of pictures don't do it justice, but this was a highly successful outcome in a critical location.

EWP Before and After Series: Day 27 - Riverside on the Upper Big Thompson. This was a small project, but the work protects the nearby road that was at risk of failing. Revegetation along the toe will ultimately result in overgrowth for fish habitat and help stabilize the bank.

EWP Before and After Series: Day 26 - Lower Fish Creek in the Estes Valley. This entire project was all about revegetation. No large equipment, no rock, no site grading; simply willow staking, container planting, and reseeding. @GreatEcology #coloradoewp
