On Thursday, Year 9 students attended a classical concert and witnessed an amazing performance combining the history of music as far back as the 1600s to the present day. It was a pleasure to see the @wolvsymphorch and Youth Orchestra performing together.
A special thank you to the @Wtonmusic who organised and funded this event. We are also immensely proud of Aisha in Year 11 who was one of many students from across Wolverhampton to perform as part of this concert.
We are supporting Children's #MentalHealthWeek by @Place2Be. π’Hear what our #ColtonHills students (and staff) have to say on this year's theme which focuses on belonging. Best recording award goes to Mrs Stanton, who has definitely cheered us all up in this gloomy weather! ππ§οΈ

On Tuesday, 10 Feb, two Year 12 #History students, accompanied by Mr Banks, visited Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration camp turned museum in OΕwiΔcim. They had a tour of Auschwitz, where they witnessed the horrific atrocities carried out by the Nazi regime.
π
We also visited the second area of Auschwitz-Birkenau, where they saw the barracks in which victims slept and the ruins of the gas chambers that the Nazis attempted to destroy to conceal their crimes after they began losing the war. An eye-opening and educational trip.
