This yearβs Spring Steps Challenge had a 250 mile theme in honor of Americaβs 250th Birthday! K-2 classes at @ConoverPrimary logged their physical activity throughout the month. Iβm so proud to see that many classes were able to reach 250 miles of exercise! π πΊπΈ #America250
5th grade came over to @ConoverPrimary to lead 2nd graders thru some healthy activities they created! It was so fun to see the older students take on a leadership role & share what they know about germs & healthy eating with the younger ones! @ConoverRoadES#ConoverConnections
Smart Shoppers!π2nd grade created a restaurant menu w/ meals in all 5 food groups. Afterwards they went to the Conover Convenience Store to shop for the ingredients in their meals! I love how they worked together & thought of creative ways to use all food groups! @ConoverPrimary
4th grade got outside after testing this week for a food label scavenger hunt! This was a fun way to review our nutrients while getting some exercise!ππͺπΌ @ConoverRoadES

Itβs Mental Health Awareness Month! π Kindergarten has been using their βbreathing buddiesβ to manage emotions! The breathing buddy should move with every deep breath they take. This is a fun way to practice calming breaths! @ConoverPrimary@EricaReynolds00

Gr. 4 created anti-drug posters for the βLead Up to LEADβ contest w the CNPD. LEAD is a program that teaches tools for smart decision making. LEAD is coming up nxt year for these students.
