Even small donations help him buy basic supplies and ease the daily worry of not knowing where the next meal will come from.

Both of Hadeel’s parents were martyred in the genocide, and her husband, injured in a traffic accident before the siege escalated, is unable to work. The children suffer from anaemia, sinusitis, and malnutrition, while the youngest often goes without milk or diapers. With winter approaching, the family shares a single bathroom with others and has no money for rent, food, medicine, or warm clothing. Basic items like sugar, tomatoes, or baby formula now cost $30–$100 per kilogram or tin due to the siege, far beyond what they can afford. Hadeel’s only goal is to obtain a tent of their own, blankets, winter clothes, food, diapers, and medical care so her children can survive the cold months ahead.
