Some symptoms of ovarian cancer overlap with IBS, leading to misdiagnosis. Yet most people develop IBS in their 20s & 30s, and onset in women ≥50 years is uncommon. In those with new-onset IBS ≥50 years, ovarian cancer should be suspected. #ovariancancerawarenessmonth #HIPEC

The most common symptoms of ovarian cancer are: 🔴Persistent and severe bloating 🔴Feeling full quickly and/or loss of appetite 🔴Persistent pelvic or abdominal pain 🔴Needing to urinate more urgently/frequently #ovariancancerawarenessmonth #ovariancancer #HIPEC #CombatCancer
