🇬🇧 The UK wants to ban
TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, X, YouTube social features, Reddit, Threads, Twitch, Kick
for under-16s because they’re “dangerous to kids.”
But Bluesky, the platform overrun with groomers, CSAM reports, violent threats and open extremism, gets a free pass?!
This has nothing to do with child protection. It's nothing but selective censorship dressed up as safety.
Disgusting!

🇬🇧 In the next two weeks, Keir Starmer reportedly wants to announce a ban on UK kids using social media
Technology Secretary Liz Kendall said new measures for under-16s would be introduced by the end of 2026, but as Starmer faces a potential leadership challenge, the window to push his agenda is closing
He vowed "decisive" action that must be a "game-changer," and that the government would move "very, very quickly"
Shame he's not moving very, very quickly on things that cause real harm, like knife crime
