Is scaffolding blocking access to a known swift nesting site?
๐ณ THE LAW IS ON YOUR SIDE
๐ณ Film it. Note the exact location (OS grid ref/W3W)
๐ณ Ring 101 and ask to speak to a Wildlife Crime Officer
๐ณ Ask for an incident number so it's logged
It's an offence to destroy damage or interfere with a nest in nesting season. Scaffolding on #Hooleys#Matlock was doing just that to an active house martin's nest. Thanks to @DerbyshireRCT for acting so promptly. Hoping the house martin family will survive. #RestoreNatureNow
