This National Social Work Month, weāre celebrating team members like Breanna from our Cedar CORE Sacramento site, seen here alongside Wilmer. She is just one example of the incredible compassion our social workers provide every day to ensure our clients stay stable and supported.
What does "preventing homelessness" look like? It looks like 1,402 adults remaining safely in their homes in 2025 thanks to our proactive Keep People Housed Programs.
It means individuals kept their jobs, avoided the trauma of displacement, and stayed in their communities.
In 2025, Bay Area Community Services' Street Outreach Teams connected 1,877 individuals in encampments to essential services, helping them achieve personal goals.

Real impact, real lives changed. In 2025, BACS provided crisis behavioral health care to 3,560 peopleākeeping them out of hospitals and jails and helping them stay stable in the community.
