A great response towards holiday hunger ahead of the half-term break. @communityraj @DJAFothergill @TWIGGERLAURA @PatFlah51115243
Year 10 student Dulcie raised enough money to create 500 meals, made at @ECSPrepSchool and the team at @Feedingcommunities distributed them throughout the Wellington community. Well done Dulcie - superb effort! #excellent #outstandingrelationships #loveoflearning

Inspiring.
We have to say a truly special thank you this morning to pupil Dulcie, at @wellingtonsch1 In December, Dulcie created a beautiful 2022 Calendar which she sold to raise funds for Feeding Communities. Dulcie raised £470 in total, a truly tremendous donation! Thank you Dulcie!
Receiving great feedback at the end of the week is the best feeling of all. Thank you! "Your different way of approaching issues especially around freeing up care provision has given our team confidence and opened their eyes to new possibilities."

Well done 👏!!
Just had a busy half term helping to put together bags of Feet Up Friday meals for unpaid carers in Oxfordshire to give them respite from cooking on a Friday night.

Purpose is fundamentally about doing. Do what needs to be done .... or just talk about it? Be proud of your purpose.
What a great week! Flowers from a happy client, hundreds of meals sent out for carers from Feet Up Friday's and a week full of exciting conversations. Looking forward to next week.... @communityraj @FeedingComms @FrankBothwellTF @Thomas_Franks_

I have had the privilege this past week of working with a local authority housing team and GP surgery previously unknown to me. What fantastic staff, cohesive working and compassion they have shown. This is how it is done! @communityraj

👇 this quote says it all. Fantastic programme @FeedingComms #FeetUpFridays
Last Friday marked the end of our #FeetUpFriday programme. The positive feedback that we've received has been incredible and we look forward to continuing it in the future ✨ Here's a look at some feedback from one of the parents who we helped:

Highly recommend @LondonMudlark books. Fascinating insight into London's history through her mudkarking finds.
MUDLARKING EXHIBITION! @southwark_cathedral is hosting an exhibition of larked finds to coincide with the launch of my new book. It's on until the end of Oct and is as Covid safe as possible, in a large airy space with plenty of time to see it to avoid the crowds. And it’s free!

Today is the start of our #FeetUpFridays As a sign of our appreciation for all they do, we've delivered home-cooked meals to unpaid carers all around around Oxfordshire. These amazing people spend their lives looking after family members and haven't had a break in over 18 months.

We have witnessed the problem solving agility of communities - let's keep barriers down and trust high.

💡Did you know drinking enough water can help with your emotions and brain function? When we are dehydrated, we can feel less calm and happy and more tired🥱. Stay sharp and have a sip of water! #HealthyHydration

Great article. "(Communities) are far better than us at understanding what is important to them. We will make better decisions if we co-produce services with communities and do what is important to them". 👏👏

"Community has a wealth of experience of talent of ideas, and they’re resilient. It’s about how we tap into that".
“Just the simple act of having the lights on and having activities in those buildings helps people to still feel safer and to feel like someone cares about where they live…there’s a sense of hope and that it’s possible to make change.” newlocal.org.uk/articles/re-…

Isn't it great how we all see things differently? In communities, when we see how others view things great ideas come together.
